Downhill Mountain Bikes - A Full Suspension Bike

Mountain bikes are generally categorized with different names due to their features then other bikes like mountain bikes, free ride bikes, and downhill bikes. Generally they all are mountain bikes but they have certain features that differentiate them from each other. One of them is down hill bikes. 

Downhill bikes have almost all features regular mountain bikes have. If we say that they are also mountain bikes then it is not wrong. These bikes are basically designed for downhill rides.

If you are having race and fun with friends on hills to race to down hill then these bikes are best because they are only for steep trails. As compared to others bikes these are little heavier.

These bikes have the ability to absorb shocks and other hurdles in a smooth way that help the rider to have a smooth and relaxing ride. These down hill bikes have weight of 32 to 50 pounds.

They can be heavier or less according to the features. The normal rider bike has 15 kg weight. You cannot use these bikes to climb up mountain. If you use it for down hill ride they are best otherwise they are not because they will not serve your purpose efficiently.

As mentioned above these bikes are heavy and that is necessary for downhill biking. You can expect addition of weight in some downhill bikes. With that they have a feature of disc brakes to brake certainly.

These bikes have high stopping power due to these brakes with that have heavy tubing and also very strong frame for stressful situations.
